On September 8, 2022, Mary Ann Ruiz hosted a Table for Eight with the Honorable Victoria del Pino on behalf of the Miami-Dade County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL).
Ms. Ruiz is Co-Chair of MDFAWL’s Judiciary Liaison Committee, a position she has held for three years. The Judiciary Liaison Committee coordinates and hosts monthly dinners for Miami-Dade County’s judiciary to network, support local judges, and promote the advancement of women in leadership positions.
This month’s dinner was held at The Key Club in Coconut Grove, Florida. The intimate dinner was perfectly timed to celebrate Judge del Pino’s appointment as Associate Administrative Judge of the Circuit Family Division and her new position as Chair Elect for the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges. Judge del Pino shared her inspiring story of her path to the bench and provided tips for success to MDFAWL members.
